Kate works exclusively with antique estate pieces that she has sourced from all over the world, and modifies them for the perfect combination of old meets new. She is inspired by the workmanship of jewelers from the past, whose handmade craft has almost disappeared entirely in today’s era of machine-made and 3D printed jewelry. As the world becomes increasingly homogenized, Kate loves creating truly one-of-a-kind pieces for modern life. Working exclusively with antique Estate settings, the materials Kate uses are always of the highest quality; 18K+ gold or platinum and top wesselton grade diamonds. These rings are entirely handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces, that are made to be as unique as the clients who wear them.
Kate approaches jewelry design as though it is fine art. With a background in photography, she has an aesthetically driven eye, highly attuned to detail and light. Kate's successful photography career can be attributed to her uncanny ability to see beauty and light in places where many do not. These skills have translated seamlessly to jewelry design. She understands that the way a diamond reflects light, and the minuscule details in a setting, make all the difference between a piece of jewelry that is good and a piece that is exceptional. Kate uses her discerning eye to create jewelry that is truly wearable art, perfect for any occasion from birthdays and anniversaries, to special occasions, engagements, or a simple everyday sparkle.
Collections, comprised of 10-15 pieces, are released once per year. Each ring is a one-of-a-kind modified antique piece that will never be replicated. Re-sizing is possible in most cases. Please contact us for custom inquiries, antique sourcing, private viewings and commissions.
